As we hear the forest waking up in the early hours, we realize the spectacle found in the dawn of the day in the jungle. Unique sounds form the nature symphony. Slowly, the voice of the forest reaches its full potential and becomes a joined mixture of sounds: frogs, monkeys, birds, crickets, and the shaking of the great trees' big leaves become our soundtrack. It is time to get up and enjoy a typical amazon breakfast, a simply set table adorned with colors and flavors brought from the land, promoting a true gastronomic experience. Right after breakfast, jungle hike and appreciation of the amazon fauna and flora.
Returning from the hiking trail, a visit to the river base located in Acajatuba lake to be introduced to a Family Project, an income generating and conservation initiative supported by ICMBIO for the grey and pink dolphins contemplation – an opportunity to get to know up close the largest mammals in the amazon rivers. Return to the camp for a delicious Amazonian lunch.
In the afternoon, tour by motorized canoe to practice traditional piranha fishing, using rod and hook, as riverside residents do daily. Back at the camp, enjoy a special Amazonian barbecue, and perhaps try one of our signature jungle cocktails at the bar. The forest begins to fall silent as nighttime creatures take over—time to relax and unwind.
