The Amazon Camp Lodge is located within the Acajatuba Sustainable Development Reserve (RDS), on the right bank of the Rio Negro, one of the richest areas of biodiversity in the Amazon. This protected area is a true natural sanctuary, home to a wide variety of species, including endangered mammals, rare birds, reptiles, and an impressive diversity of fish.

The Amazon Camp Lodge has been carefully designed to combine comfort and immersion in the forest. Its netted walls allow guests to appreciate the natural beauty around them while staying protected from insects, and the wooden structure harmonizes with the environment.
The infrastructure includes gender-separated bathrooms equipped with high-pressure showers and large windows for natural ventilation, alongside an outdoor area with four sinks and mirrors, offering practicality for daily activities. The bathrooms are stocked with liquid soap, shampoo, and conditioner.
The lodge is fully powered by electricity and offers internet access points, ensuring modern convenience amidst nature. The dining area is cozy and functional, with comfortable tables and chairs, as well as a veranda with lounge chairs — perfect for relaxing or meditating while contemplating the Amazon landscape. The kitchen and bar are integrated with the restaurant, providing easy access and turning meals into special moments of interaction.
During your stay, you will receive a complete kit for sleeping at the lodge, including a spacious hammock, bath, and face towels, and a key to your exclusive chest, where you can securely store your belongings.
In addition to its rich biodiversity, the Acajatuba RDS region is also a model of sustainable socio-economic development. The local communities, with whom the lodge maintains close relationships, engage in traditional activities such as flour production, handicrafts, and canoe and broom making. However, their main source of income is fishing, which plays a vital role in the local economy, integrating environmental preservation and sustainable livelihoods in harmony.
Our goal in designing the lodge was to promote an experience that is deeply integrated with nature while contributing to the preservation of the Amazon biome. Guests can participate in various ecotourism activities, including guided forest walks, canoeing, nighttime wildlife observation, and visits to local communities. These communities are part of sustainability programs aimed at maintaining the forest while using its resources responsibly for their livelihoods and sustainable development.
